Yearly Bingo

Resolution bingo

New Year's resolution bingo gives you more ways to win.

Traditional resolutions often fail because one missed week feels like the whole year is ruined. A bingo board gives you 25 finishable goals, so progress can move in more than one direction.

What is resolution bingo?

Resolution bingo is a 5 by 5 board of resolutions instead of a list of them. Each square is one resolution, written as something you can finish rather than something you have to maintain forever. It isn't only for January - a resolution bingo board works any time you want to reset a set of goals, not just at New Year.

Why bingo works for resolutions

A bingo sheet turns vague ambition into visible progress. You can finish a square, complete a line, share a post, or keep building toward the full board. That makes the year feel less all-or-nothing.

How to start

  1. Write down goals you actually want in your year.
  2. Convert vague resolutions into finishable squares.
  3. Mix effort goals with joy goals so the board stays motivating.
  4. Check in monthly and mark off completed squares.
  5. Share wins when you want accountability or encouragement.

Examples

Instead of "get fit", use "run a 5K." Instead of "read more", use "finish 12 books." Instead of "travel", use "take a weekend trip." The clearer the square, the more satisfying it is to complete.
